Build 02
SaaS platforms built to scale past the MVP.
Algoace builds custom SaaS platforms, dashboards and enterprise web applications on Next.js, React, Node.js and cloud-native architecture, with subscription billing, payments and analytics built in. It is for SaaS teams scaling past their MVP, migrating to a modern stack, or building a v1 that has to survive the first thousand customers.

“Half of our SaaS work starts as a rescue. The pattern is always the same: a fast MVP, real customers, then a year of firefighting because the data model was never designed for a second tenant. We would rather spend two weeks on the model now than six months on migrations later, and we will show you the cost of both.”
Three problems we usually find
Multi-tenancy was an afterthought.
Customer data separated by an if statement. We fix it at the schema and the auth layer, with a migration plan that does not take the product down.
The dashboard is the product, and it is slow.
Client-side fetch waterfalls, no caching, no pagination. We move data work to the server, add the indexes, and measure it.
Billing is duct tape.
Manual invoices, plans hard-coded, no dunning. We integrate Stripe properly: plans, trials, proration, webhooks, failed payment recovery.
What you get
| Deliverable | What it includes | When you get it |
|---|---|---|
| Technical scope and plan | Architecture outline, data model and tenancy approach, milestone plan, risks, and a fixed price | 48 hours |
| Working environment on a preview URL | The latest build on a live preview URL, with release notes and a short demo | Every week |
| The platform | Next.js, Node.js, Postgres or Supabase, auth, billing, admin, analytics, CI/CD | At launch, 10 to 17 weeks from kickoff depending on scope |
| Infrastructure as code and deployment runbooks | Infrastructure code, CI/CD pipelines, environment setup, and runbooks for deploy, rollback and incidents | At launch |

Build in-house or with a studio for a v1 SaaS
| Criterion | Hire in-house | Algoace |
|---|---|---|
| Time to a productive team | 3 to 6 months to hire three seniors | Day one, same people from the call |
| Cost for the first 12 weeks | Three senior salaries plus recruiting | One fixed price for the scope |
| Architecture decisions | Depend on who you managed to hire | Made by people who have shipped 40-plus products |
| Knowledge retention after launch | High, if they stay | Handover docs, runbooks, recorded walkthroughs, option to retain the team |
| Risk if it goes wrong | Yours entirely | Shared: fixed scope, weekly demos, written decision log |
Our recommendation: hire in-house once the product has paying customers and you know what the second year of work looks like; use a studio to get there. The case against: if your core IP is the engineering itself (a developer tool, an infrastructure product), start hiring earlier.

Web and SaaS engineering
40-plus products shipped across six industries in twelve years.
Who this is for, and who it is not for
Who this is for
- SaaS founders post-MVP.
- Technical leaders migrating a legacy stack.
- Operators who need an internal platform that their team will actually use.
Who this is not for
- WordPress brochure sites (we do those under a separate offer).
- Projects that need a specific enterprise stack we do not run (Java, .NET).
How pricing works
Fixed scope, fixed price, senior people. No hourly rates. The written scope after the call is the quote. See how we work.
Questions founders ask us
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes. We start with a one-week assessment: architecture, data model, test coverage, deploy pipeline, security basics, with a rescue-or-rebuild recommendation and costs for both.
Do you build with Next.js only?
Next.js is our default for the frontend and Node.js for services. We choose against the product; if the product needs something else, we say so in the scope.
How do you handle multi-tenancy and data isolation?
At the schema and the auth layer, with row-level security where the database supports it, and tests that prove tenant A cannot read tenant B.
Do you integrate billing?
Yes, Stripe by default: plans, trials, proration, webhooks, dunning and an admin view.
What about hosting and DevOps?
Vercel or AWS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, monitoring with Sentry. You own the accounts.
Can the same team stay on after launch?
Yes, as a retained senior team. Most clients keep two to three of the build engineers for the first six months.
How is quality assured?
QA runs inside the CI pipeline from the first sprint. See QA as a service.
Send a brief
Same three questions as the call, then your details. You will hear from a senior person, not a bot, within one hour during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM GST) and within twelve hours outside them.
Ready when the work has to be right the first time.
A 30-minute scoping call with a senior engineer, designer or growth lead. You will leave with a written view of scope, risks and a realistic timeline, whether or not you hire us.
